Child & Language Development

This Child & Language Development webpage demonstrates my knowledge of various aspects of how children develop, including cognitive, linguistic, psychosocial, and additional disabilities (C3). While I touched on some tools and information relating to this competency in my Resource Library, I will provide more depth of information here, as well as reflecting on how this knowledge impact the work I do as a school interpreter (C3). Finally, this knowledge of child development is foundational to my work as a member of the educational team, and my ability to contribute and collaborate with them (C2).
